In a post-apocalyptic future, Nausicaä is the rebellious princess of the Valley of the Wind. Humans live in fear of the toxic jungles and their mutant insect inhabitants, Nausicaa tries instead to foster peace between nature and last of humanity. Her desires run up against the militaristic Kingdom of Tolmekia, and its cyborg princess, Kushana, who wish to destroy the jungle.
