To celebrate the release of Joanna Hogg's shimmering masterwork, The Souvenir Part II, we're asking audiences to submit their creative response to the film, to be in with a chance of winning a Picturehouse VIP card (A year's worth of free cinema tickets).
Coming to cinemas across the UK from Friday 4 February, The Souvenir Part II is a portrait of the artist that transcends the halting particulars of everyday life — a singular, alchemic mix of memoir and fantasy. With a great 80s soundtrack and an outstanding cast that also includes Richard Ayoade, Charlie Heaton, Joe Alwyn, and Tilda Swinton, the critically acclaimed sequel to The Souvenir is a truly unmissable cinematic event.
Inspired by Julie's experience at Film School and as a developing filmmaker, we're asking audiences to submit their creative response to The Souvenir and The Souvenir Part II. Whether it's a short film, photography, illustration, or creative writing, we'd love to see your creative response to either The Souvenir or The Souvenir Part II within your chosen medium. Gather as much information and inspiration as you can and we will pick the top 5 to be featured on the Picturehouse blog and social media channels.
