Picturehouse Central is situated in the heart of London’s West End, a stone’s throw away from Leicester Square. The entrance will be located on the corner of Great Windmill Street and Shaftesbury Avenue at the centre of London’s famous theatre district. Find us on google maps.
Restaurant And Bar
The first-floor restaurant and bar, overlooking the neon lights of Shaftesbury Avenue’s theatres, serves a host of delicious dishes.
The Members' Bar
Picturehouse Central Members can bring up to three guests to the Members' Bar. In the restaurant, bar and Members' Bar, you will need a valid ticket to purchase and consume alcoholic drinks after 9.00pm
In the café you can only purchase and consume alcohol if you are also buying food.

*Prices unless otherwise stated. Some documentaries and repertory films and events may be priced at the usual cinema rate. Please check the weekly listings or ask a member of staff for more information.
For the over–60s. Membership is free and members can enjoy a free tea or coffee and homemade biscuits at the weekly Silver Screen shows. Silver Screen members' tickets are £8.00 for Silver Screen shows. Non-members are also welcome — the usual ticket prices apply.
3D films cost £1.30 extra per person, not including 3D glasses. These cost an additional 70p, and can be purchased at the cinema if you do not have your own.
Student tickets are available to those in full-time secondary or higher education.
Retired tickets are available to those over 60 who are retired.
Child tickets are available to those under 15.
Family tickets are for four people, at least two of whom must be under 15. Not applicable to premium-price screenings.
You may be asked for proof of age, which needs to be photographic ID with date of birth. Suitable proof includes a passport or a CitizenCard (details of which are available from the Box Office).
There is a £1.50 booking fee per transaction for telephone and online bookings. This fee does not apply to Picturehouse Members,* or to tickets purchased in person at the cinema.
Customers who have a disability that means that they need a companion with them in the cinema can bring them to any Picturehouse Cinema for free.
You can sign up for a Carers Card which will automatically discount one of your tickets, and which you can use – without a booking fee – when buying tickets in person, online or by telephone. The card will also mean that you don’t have to explain your situation every time you visit the cinema.
Ticket prices for customers with disabilities are according to their circumstances (e.g. adult, Member or student); the free ticket applies to their companion. The card must be used in conjunction with a paid-for ticket or a Member’s free ticket. All customers for 3D screenings – including those using free tickets – will need to buy a pair of 3D glasses. These can be reused if you keep them.
Signing up for a card is not required, but we hope it will make buying tickets easier. It is personal to you, and may not be used by other people.

Additionally, limitations placed on Cinemas by their local licenses require children and young people under 8 years of age to be accompanied by a responsible person; consequently, applications for cards can only be considered for people who are 8 years of age or older.
Advance booking is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide assistance if required. Accompanying carers are eligible for a free ticket.
For customers with limited mobility:
All areas of the building are accessible to wheelchair users. There is a lift on the ground floor that takes you to the first floor. From the first floor there is another lift to take you to the second, third and fourth floors for access to the screens and Members’ Bar.
All screens are accessible by wheelchair and have wheelchair spaces. We will be pleased to reserve wheelchair spaces or seats in any particular part of the auditorium if this is helpful. Please contact us in advance.
There are wheelchair-accessible adapted toilets on each floor. There is an alarm cord inside should you need to summon a member of staff.
For customers with visual impairments:
Guide dogs are welcome. If you wish to take your dog into a performance, please let us know when booking so that we can arrange an aisle seat. Our staff will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog.
Certain performances carry subtitles, and these are clearly indicated in the programme.
