Advanced booking

Advance booking is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide assistance if required. Accompanying carers are eligible for a free ticket. We will be pleased to reserve wheelchair spaces or seats in any particular part of the auditorium if this is helpful. To book wheelchair spaces or carer tickets by phone, or for all other accessibility enquiries, please call our dedicated accessibility hotline 02072 947908.

Customers With Limited Mobility

All public areas of the building are accessible to customers with limited mobility and there is a lift for access to all levels of the cinema. The Box Office, bar and accessible toilets are located on the first floor, and the cinema screens are located on the second floor. The Box Office and bar all have adapted counters and accessible levels for transactions. There are wheelchair spaces in all of the screens.

Visually Impaired Customers

Guide dogs are welcome at Ashford Picturehouse. If you wish to take a dog into a performance, please let us know when booking so we can arrange an aisle seat. Alternatively, your dog can be cared for by a member of staff for the duration of the performance. Our staff will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog.

Our stair rails have embossed tactile aids, which indicate the steps approaching each level. Three bumps mean that you are on the third step from the landing, two bumps mean that you are on the second step and one that you are on the final step.

Customers with Impaired Hearing

There is an induction loop in the Box Office and infrared facilities in all six screens. To use the infrared system please ask for receiving equipment at the Box Office. You will be asked for a credit card or a £5.00 deposit for the equipment, which will be fully refunded on its return at the end of the screening. Certain performances carry subtitles and these are clearly indicated in the programme.

Disabled Parking

Free parking is available for up to three hours if you display a valid blue badge and time clock, set to the time of arrival.
