Terms and Conditions

By submitting your application to be a Picturehouse Ambassador you are agreeing to these Picturehouse Ambassador Scheme Terms & Conditions.

The Scheme

1. The Picturehouse Ambassador Scheme ("Scheme") is a collaboration between Picturehouse Cinemas Limited ("Picturehouse") and chosen individuals who will share their experience of being a VIP Member at their local Picturehouse to their own social media audience.
2. The Scheme will run from month to month until ended at the discretion of Picturehouse.
3. Picturehouse will choose one applicant each month, to receive a free VIP membership for use during the following month. The chosen applicant (Ambassador) will be asked to share social media content about their experience at Picturehouse Cinemas during and after their month as a VIP Member. 

Participants 

1. You must be a UK resident and aged 18 years old or over to apply to be an Ambassador. 
2. The Scheme is not open to employees or family members of Picturehouse , Cineworld Cinemas or anyone else connected with the Scheme.

How to Apply

1. To apply to be an Ambassador, the applicant will need to complete the application form and submit it no later than the closing date for the relevant month's selection stated on the application form.  Applications submitted after this date or in any form other than the online form will not be accepted.    
2. Picturehouse will review the applications and choose the successful applicant at its sole discretion. Selection criteria will be applied fairly and will take into account applicants' social media presence and number of followers as well as other relevant attributes, information provided and content publicly available on the applicants' social media accounts. 
3. Applications will be rejected if they: i) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language, ii) include the names, likenesses or similar of any individual without their express permission; iii) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; iv) cause offence on the grounds of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners.
4. Picturehouse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify applications or applicants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the Scheme.
   
5. The successful applicant for the relevant month will be notified by email/phone within five (5) days of the closing date for applications as stated on the application form. 
   
6. If Picturehouse is unable to contact the successful applicant or the successful applicant is unavailable to fulfil the Ambassador role during the relevant month for any reason, Picturehouse may choose one or more alternative individuals to fulfil the Ambassador role in their place.
7. Where an applicant has asked for their application to be considered for the Scheme in future months, Picturehouse may do so and may choose to select that applicant as an Ambassador in future months, at its sole discretion. 

The Ambassador

1. will not enter into an employment or contract for services with Picturehouse.  
2. will not be entitled to receive any payment from Picturehouse for their participation in the Picturehouse Ambassador Scheme. 
3. must be available for the majority of the month to attend films and events
4. will attend their local Picturehouse cinema a minimum of once a week during their month as Ambassador 
5. must be willing to commit to one piece of social media content per week during the month of their Ambassadorship.   
6. will be required to sign an Ambassador acceptance and release form in order to be eligible to receive the VIP pass and participate in the Scheme as an Ambassador.

VIP Membership

1. In exchange for the Ambassador's time they will receive during their month as an Ambassador, a Picturehouse VIP Membership including:     

    a.  Priority invites to special events or key titles being promoted

    b.  Free tickets for themselves and a guest for any film showing at their venue

    c.  Access to Members' Bar areas

    d.  10% off food and drink purchased at Picturehouse cinemas 

    e.  Promotion on Picturehouse social media channels

    f.  A personal point of contact within Picturehouse

2. The VIP Experience has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and non-refundable.




Promoter

The Promoter of the Picturehouse Ambassador Scheme is Picturehouse Cinemas Limited, registered office at 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG. 




Changes to the terms 

Picturehouse reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Scheme at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.




Limitation of Liability 

Applicants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Picturehouse, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Scheme from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Scheme.




Jurisdiction 


These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.




Data Protection 

All data provided by applicants will be treated in line with Picturehouse's Privacy Policy (available on the Picturehouse website at www.picturehouses.com) and only for the purpose of running the Scheme, administering the VIP Membership and fulfilling Picturehouse's obligations under the Scheme and enforcing its rights in connection therewith.
