In the midst of war and conflict, where can one call home? After the annexation of Crimea in 2014, the Ukrainian Paralympic National Team not only lose access to their state of the art training base, but must adapt to the new political and geographical boundaries that now bind their country. Giving us a glimpse from the inside, filmmaker Lesia Kordonets follows the Paralympians as they prepare for the next Olympic Games, while dealing with the division of family and friends, and worsening economic situation, yet still strive to keep morale high.
The Cambridge Film Festival is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity with a mission to foster film culture and education for the benefit of the public, in Cambridge and the Eastern region but also throughout the UK.
