Accessibility At Arts Picturehouse, Cambridge
This page explains the current facilities for people with disabilities and is intended to assist you in planning your visit.
Advance Booking
Booking in advance is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide any assistance you require. Accompanying carers are eligible for a free ticket. We will be pleased to reserve wheelchair spaces or seats in any particular part of the auditorium if this is helpful.
Customers with limited mobility
We cannot remove seats in all three auditoria, but we do have accessible seating in all three. We do not have adapted counters. All areas of the cinema are accessible to those with mobility difficulties. We do not have Blue Badge Parking facilities, just local multi-storeys and street parking.
Visually impaired customers
Films that come with audio description are advertised on our showtimes and we provide headphones that facilitate this function for those films that do. We're happy to provide large print versions of any reading materials or menus, outside of distributor-sent promo materials.
Accessible screenings
We do regular Autism-Friendly screenings and on the third Friday of the month, we have a morning Dementia-Friendly screening.
Toilets
There is a fully accessible separate toilet on the same level as the Box Office. There is an emergency call-point inside should you need to summon assistance.
