Monsters have long been cinema’s queer cyphers — the feared other! — but they also represent our ferocious queer selves as we fight back against oppression. This night of deviant horror — both unintentionally and audaciously queer — is our collective call to action.

Pride starts with an uprising, and queer filmmaker Clive Barker’s dark fantasy about a himbo discovering his subterranean queer family is the Stonewall Riot of monster movies.
REVENGE OF THE CREATURE 3D
Swim in the dangerous waters of overlooked sequels with this 1950s B&W horror show where Universal’s horny Gill-Man resurfaces from the Black Lagoon to resist conversion therapy and battle toxic beefcake (all in glorious 3D!).
HALLUCINATIONS

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS: DIRECTOR’S CUT
We end our night with a plant-based apocalypse, a radical reworking of the much-loved movie musical where heteronormativity is gleefully defeated and Audrey II might just be horror cinema’s first Black Trans Final Girl. Feel free to sing along!
