A rare opportunity to see this film portrait of the Hebridean based sculptor Steve Dilworth. His art and working methods are examined in scenes from his studio on the Isle of Harris, and in interviews with collectors and well-known supporters of his work including Robert Macfarlane and Iain Sinclair.
The film follows the creation and construction of a number of his sculptures from studio to foundry, including one of his most recent works, Guardian, which was commissioned by Marchmont House in the Scottish Borders. It also reveals the final resting place of The Whalebone Box, which was the centrepiece of the Andrew Kotting film of the same name.
There will be a Q&A with Steve Dilworth after the screening.
