Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey – the follow-up to 2023’s Academy Award-winning phenomenon Oppenheimer – transforms Homer’s foundational saga into a boundary-pushing cinematic epic blending action and myth.

Its story follows battle-worn Odysseus (Matt Damon), the King of Ithaca, and his decade-long journey home after the Trojan War – to reunite with his loyal, iron-willed Queen Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and their devoted son, Telemachus (Tom Holland).

What unfurls is a thrilling adventure tale of gods and monsters, as Odysseus and his warriors face tests of courage, valour and endurance if they are to return home.
