The Labours of Hercule present the perfect Poirot double feature for a summer Sunday.

Hosts Adam Roche and Frankie Pellatt will introduce the feature film adaptations of both Death On The Nile (1978) and Evil Under The Sun (1982), starring Peter Ustinov as Agatha Christie's iconic detective Hercule Poirot, on the big screen at Picturehouse Central. They'll also host a live podcast recording between the screenings (guests TBC) and an informal meet-up in the bar after the event.

Death On The Nile sees a wealthy heiress killed while honeymooning on a cruise down the Nile river. Fortunately, Poirot is holidaying on the same paddle steamer – and soon learns that everyone on it may have their reasons for murder. Evil Under The Sun finds Poirot at an exclusive Mediterranean island resort, surrounded by rich socialites as he attempts to investigage the theft of a diamond. But when a guest is found murdered on the beach, it seems he'll have to extend his stay...
