Solo + Sophie Dupuis Director Q&A

We're delighted to welcome Sophie Dupuis for a live Q&A following this screening.

Simon – also known as Glory Gore – is a rising star on the Montreal drag scene. When he meets Olivier, a fellow performer, it's love at first sight. 

Simon thinks he’s in for an electrifying love affair, but a power struggle dynamic develops between them. At the same time, his mother, Claire, a famous opera singer, returns home after a long absence. Fascinated by this woman, whom he hardly knows but idealises, Simon persists in trying to create a bond with her. 

Solo sees Théodore Pellerin deliver a career-defining performance in a role written especially for him by director Sophie Dupuis. Amplified by Félix Maritaud’s (SAUVAGE, 120 BPM) sensational performance as Olivier, together they create a truly unforgettable on-screen dynamic.
