LMF teams up with Liverpool’s Goldie’s for an evening of New York cinema and pizza, built around Martin Scorsese’s wonderfully unhinged After Hours. When office worker Paul Hackett (Griffin Dunne) heads into SoHo for a late-night date, he has no idea how difficult getting home will become. A series of increasingly bizarre encounters sends him careering through a Manhattan night that refuses to end. Scorsese’s 1985 dark comedy is a frantic, very funny reminder that sometimes you should have stayed in. We’re glad Paul didn’t. Join us at the Picturehouse @ FACT bar from 6pm for pizza from Goldie’s and a catch-up before the 7.30pm screening in Screen 3. Afterwards, we’ll head around the corner to Goldie’s on Colquitt Street to carry on chatting about the film.
