If you’re often found sitting reading a comically large prop version of The Bell Jar, this is the night out for you.

Revisit a teen cinema classic and party like it’s 1999 with 10 Things I Hate About You, screening in a special celebration of the film’s 25th birthday.

Directed by Gil Junger, this seminal Shakespeare-turned-high-school comedy transplants The Taming of the Shrew to a Seattle high school with a sharp, sweet script from hitmaking duo Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith (Legally Blonde, Ella Enchanted, She’s The Man, The House Bunny).

Expect nineties-slash-bardcore fashion, drink specials and angry girl music of the indie rock persuasion as we ask the all-important question: I know you can be overwhelmed, and you can be underwhelmed, but can you ever just be whelmed?

Drinks, tunes and table tennis in the bar from 6.00pm, screening kicks off at 8.00pm.
