The story of a mysterious inheritance, seances, psychedelics and Brighton’s 1990s alt-cabaret scene is woven together with inimitable charm by local writer, broadcaster and performer David Bramwell.

The Haunted Moustache began life as a one-man stage production. In this filmed version of the award-winning show, Bramwell recalls his UK odyssey to find the origins of the moustache inherited from Great Aunt Sylvie. He encounters the occult, mind-altering drugs and a ‘cabaret of misfits’  including Hippy Lily, Dave Suit and the enigmatic Drako Zarharzar. Once described as a ‘one-man cottage industry’ Bramwell has written numerous radio programmes, books and stage shows. He has been the host of Brighton Catalyst Club spoken word events since 2004, is the founder of the Cheeky Guides books and singer-songwriter with Oddfellow’s Casino.
