My Cinema Clinic: Menopause is an exciting new cinema brand,
bringing a specially made thought-provoking documentary
alongside an expert panel to a cinema location near you.
The Menopause event will include a 60-minute myth busting
cinematic documentary, directed by BAFTA award-winning
director Lily Murray to provide the very latest scientific and
holistic viewpoints on the perimenopause and post-menopause.
The film features some central figures from the menopause
movement in the UK including Kate Muir, Dr Nighat Arif and
Diane Danzebrink.
Shot with stunning cinematography of nature, the film takes us
through the perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause
journeys of a wide spectrum of women punctuated by medical
and holistic insights. It offers potential remedies and explains
why support is needed and where it is available. It bares witness
to what the experience feels like on the other side of this often
challenging transition period.
After the 60-minute film, a panel of local menopause GP,
experts and advocates will be available at each cinema to those
who wish to share their stories, ask questions and discuss what
would best support them in their own journeys.
