Spark is Britain’s first true storytelling club. Welcoming true stories in a friendly open-mic style atmosphere every other 1st Wednesday of the month. Sit back and listen, or sign up on the night to tell your own story!
The theme for the night on Wednesday 3rd June will be "Holidays".
Join us for a night of true storytelling at our next open mic, where the theme is “Holidays.” Think sunburns and serendipity, missed flights and found love, family chaos, solo escapes, and everything in between. Whether it’s a life-changing adventure abroad or a hilariously disastrous staycation, we want the stories that still linger long after the suitcase is unpacked.
Come to share, or just sit back and travel through other people’s memories. Expect laughter, a few heartfelt moments, and plenty of “you won’t believe this” twists.
No passport required - just a good story.
At Spark’s open-mic nights there are just three rules: your story has to be true, it has to have happened to you (not someone else) and it should be around 5 minutes long. We welcome storytellers of all abilities, from practised performers to nervous first-timers. Storytellers can sign up in advance or on the night.
