TBC 90 mins
Paula and La Maestra, two 16-year-old teenagers, are the best friends in the world, and staunch competitors on their swimming teams.
Sports rivalry takes a back seat when Paula is raped at a party.
After hearing about the incident, La Maestra intends to avenge her friend in her own way, and the situation quickly spirals out of control.
The stakes of frienship are as high as the tensions in Mexican filmmaker Fernanda Tovar's debut feature, which won the Generation 14+ Award at Berlinale, proving that young audiences crave to see the thorny reality of their early teens on screen.
The Cambridge Film Festival is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity widening access to cinema and supporting emerging talent through film, education and community programmes.
