DIRECTOR: Ivona Juka WITH: Dado Cosic, Emir Hadzihafizbegovic, Slaven Doslo, Dorde Galic, Elmir Krivalic.

In 1950s Yugoslavia, four close friends—renowned filmmakers—live under the shadow of suspicion due to their homosexuality. As disapproval grows, a loyal Communist Party operative is sent to infiltrate and sabotage their lives.

Inspired by the director’s extensive research into the persecution of homosexuals under communist rule, this powerful film explores how authoritarian regimes seek control by forcing citizens to suppress their true identities and by inciting hatred toward the "other."

Please note: This film contains sexually explicit scenes as well as scenes of sexual violence.

The Cambridge Film Festival is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity with a mission to foster film culture and education for the benefit of the public, in Cambridge, the Eastern region, and throughout the UK.
