We're delighted to welcome Sophie Dupuis for a live Q&A following this screening. Simon (Glory Gore), is a rising star on the Montreal drag scene. When he meets Olivier (Dragona) a fellow performer its love at first sight. While Simon thinks he’s in for an electrifying love affair, a power struggle dynamic develops between them. At the same time, his mother Claire, a famous opera singer, returns home after a long absence. Fascinated by this woman, whom he hardly knows but idealizes, Simon persists in trying to create a bond with her. Théodore Pellerin delivers a career-defining performance in the ground breaking role of Simon, written especially for him by Sophie Dupuis. SOLO’s impact is amplified by Félix Maritaud’s (SAUVAGE, 120 BPM) sensational performance as Olivier. Together they create a truly, unforgettable on-screen dynamic.
