To celebrate Picturehouse Central’s 10th birthday, alongside our upcoming reDiscover season Women Editors, we’re bringing the modern action masterpiece that is Mad Max: Fury Road back to celebrate with our beloved West End Members. Grab a ticket, join us at the Members' Bar for a free drink, then enjoy the film alongside an introduction from the Picturehouse team. 

Released in 2015 – the same year Picturehouse Central opened its doors – and recently voted #11 in the New York Times' 100 Best Movies of the 21st Century, George Miller's blistering road epic sets its scene years after the collapse of civilisation, in a stark, apocalyptic desert world, where two rebels on the run fight to survive.

As the tyrannical Immortan Joe reigns, the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads his five wives in a daring escape. She forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a silent loner and former captive. Fortified in the massive, armored truck, they try to outrun the ruthless warlord and his henchmen in a deadly high-speed chase through the Wasteland.
