Mistress America: 10th Anniversary Q&A

Ten years after its UK premiere at Picturehouse Central, we’re thrilled to welcome back writer/director Noah Baumbach and writer/star Greta Gerwig for an anniversary screening and Q&A of Searchlight Pictures’ buoyant screwball comedy Mistress America.

A lonely freshman in New York City, Tracy (Lola Kirke) is having trouble adjusting to college life. Her solitude is disrupted when she meets her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig).

Tracy is immediately entranced by Brooke and her lifestyle: Brooke's impetuous, adventurous and popular, full of life and energy, and she begins to rope Tracy into her alluring – and increasingly ridiculous – schemes.

Dream-chasing, score-settling, and cat-stealing are soon on the cards for them both.
