Transition Bath host The Line We Crossed with live panel featuring director Liz Smith and film participant and local resident Steve Pritchard. As we fail to address the climate crisis, activists cross the line into civil disobedience with chilling consequences for their lives and our protest rights. A British story of dissent, drawn from the frontlines of climate resistance. Through the experiences of those who stood in defiance, it traces the quiet unraveling of our protest rights. The film challenges audiences to question what makes dissent effective and where the line of acceptability is. This film contains flickering or flashing lights that may affect those with photosensitive epilepsy Green Screen is a community-led space to discuss the environmental issues raised in the films we show.
