DIRECTOR: Pau Calpe Rufat
WITH: León Martínez, Pol López, Maria Rodríguez Soto
This original feature fuses genres to offer a unique reinterpretation of the werewolf myth. It is significantly removed from the conventions of horror cinema, whilst preserving the tragic dual nature of those affected by the curse. The film follows Adrià (León Martínez), a mute 17-year-old boy, who lives a nomadic life with his brother and his brother's girlfriend. Adrià has a secret: when there is a full moon, he can't sleep and wanders the streets. Director Pau Calpe avoids the horror genre clichés and uses lycanthropy as a symbol for marginalisation, social alienation and suppressed emotions.
"It presents a refreshingly unconventional take on the werewolf genre that deserves appreciation" Cine Maldito
