O Brother, Where Art Thou?

In the Deep South of the 1930s, a trio of convicts – led by the suave, fast-talking Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney) – escape from a chain gang and set out in search of treasure.

Ulysses convinces his companions Delmar and Pete  (Tim Blake Nelson, John Turturro) to cross Mississippi to track down the buried spoils of a train robbery – and as the land's set to be flooded, time is of the essence. Their journey home sees them cross paths with many oddities, among them sirens, a cyclops, a lynch mob, and a blind prophet, who warns the trio that the treasure they seek may not be the treasure they find...
