In the projects of Paris, sixteen-year-old Marieme (Karidja Touré) is unsure of herself, suffocated by her family and disillusioned by her future.
When she drops out of school, she finds herself taken under the wing of three bold, free-spirited girls in a loose-knit gang. Under their influence, Marieme comes out of her shell – but their bravado emboldens her to make choices that might change her life forever.
