CASE STUDY: ANATOMY OF A FALL - how a film gets to the big screen

Join us for a screening of Palme d’Or winner Anatomy of a Fall and a panel featuring industry experts who worked on the film. This event has been co-curated with Picturehouse and QMUL to give an exclusive insight into how a film gets on the big screen and into careers within the film industry in distribution and exhibition.

The panel will discuss the journey of a film from post-production will be explored - how it gets acquired by a distribution company, how the film is sold to cinemas and home entertainment platforms, and how it is selected to be shown in cinemas by film programmers. 

There will also be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

Film synopsis:
