A Night At The Ritzy

Join us for a very special evening. As we roll out the red carpet to raise money for our partner charity Refuge. The night will take you on a trip to the cinema like you never had before where the films come alive in one the UK’s oldest cinemas. Combining live music, acting, stunts, dance and poetry in our iconic screen 1. Split into four acts of your favourite film genres, the night will take you on a journey from Drama to Horror, and Action to RomCom. 

The line up includes singer Kate Nash, published poet Charlotte Gosling and a special Purple Rain electric guitar performance by Bruno Magnanti! Plus many many more fantastic acts, who will be announced on our Instagram; @ritzy_cinema

 Come and celebrate the magic of cinema dressed as your favourite movie character or in your best celeb red carpet glam and have a night to remember! All while raising money for an excellent cause. 

Your ticket also includes you entry to our exclusive after party at Upstairs at the Ritzy (subject to capacity and 18+) where there will be music from a DJ and live music from up and coming independent artist ELIYAR, who will be giving us an exclusive performance from his upcoming EP. And a performance from the Ritzy’s favourite drag queen, B!tchtrice! 

Curated by Ritzy’s own Jadasha’i Thomas and Harry Evans. It will also be hosted by Jadasha’i, Harry and Michael Brefo. 

Refuge is the largest specialist domestic abuse organisation in the UK. On any given day their services support thousands of survivors, helping them to overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives — free from fear.

The red carpet starts at 6pm, with the screen doors opening at 6:30pm and then the show starting at 7pm. 

Our photo booth will be free to use with your ticket purchase! 

During the night there will be references to different forms of abuse and mental health.
