An epic saga of organised crime in post-war America, The Irishman is a story spanning decades told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. In the 1950s, Sheeran, a truck driver, gets involved with Russell Bufalino and his Pennsylvania crime family. As Sheeran climbs the ranks to become a top hit man, he also comes to meet and work for Jimmy Hoffa: a powerful Teamster tied to organised crime.
