Dog-Friendly Screening: The Little Mermaid (2023)

We are happy for you to bring your dog along to this special dog-friendly screening (you're welcome without a dog too). Before the screening there are a few things to consider: If you attend this screening with a dog, you'll be issued with a fleece blanket to cover the seat used by the dog or to use as a rug if the dog sits on the floor. During the screenings, we will provide bowls of water around the screen. We will leave lighting levels a little higher than usual during the screening and lower the volume of the soundtrack. Please be aware that we reduce capacity when offering ‘dog-friendly’ screenings, so there may be fewer tickets than usual. We limit dogs to: one dog to one adult. “The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.
