Set in the months leading up to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, this urgent documentary follows a group of young Ukrainians preparing for a play based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, that explores the impact of conflict on their lives.

They face up to moments of trauma from the war in Donbas, going from being a civilian to a soldier, and processing raw emotions together. This is a powerful and cathartic story, that finds hope in the harrowing moments and seeks to reconcile the past, while facing the uncertainty of the future.
