JFF: The Accusation

Alexandre, the bright 22-year-old son of a famous TV journalist father and an essayist mother, is accused by Mila, the Jewish daughter of his mother’s new boyfriend, of rape.

Whereas Alexandre is determined to prove his innocence, Mila fights to be heard: a case of his truth against hers, a grey area where Alexandre’s privileged brutality and Mila’s complex feelings about sex and desire, influenced in part by her mother’s Orthodox Jewish way of life, make it near impossible to reach a clear verdict.
