Code-named ‘Maverick’, Pete Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is an impetuous Navy pilot, newly accepted into Miramar's elite Fighter School – also known as "Top Gun". There, he and his co-pilot best friend compete with the best of the best, whilst also contending with the mysterious circumstances surrounding his veteran father’s death. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose”.
