SHOWTIMES AND TICKETS

Spark is Britain’s first true storytelling club. Welcoming true stories in a friendly open-mic style atmosphere every other 1st Wednesday of the month. Sit back and listen, or sign up on the night to tell your own story!

The theme for the night on Wednesday 5th August will be "Lost".

We've all lost something. Keys. Passports. Dignity. Our twenties.
Join us for an evening of true stories about things gone missing, left behind, stolen, forgotten, abandoned, misdirected, or accidentally donated to charity.

Stories might involve:

  • Wrong trains and worse decisions
  • Missing people who weren't actually missing
  • Getting gloriously, catastrophically lost
  • Lost love, lost opportunities, lost luggage
  • Finding something unexpected while looking for something else
  • That one thing you're still not over
  • A panel discussion about the classic TV series featuring special guests (not actually true)

Because not all who wander are lost. But many of us absolutely were.

At Spark’s open-mic nights there are just three rules: your story has to be true, it has to have happened to you (not someone else) and it should be around 5 minutes long. We welcome storytellers of all abilities, from practised performers to nervous first-timers. Storytellers can sign up in advance or on the night.

Storytellers can sign up in advance or on the night!
