Terminator 2: Judgement Day

A sequel to the sci-fi action thriller that made James Cameron a go-to blockbuster name, Terminator 2: Judgement Day returns to the tale of Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), now the single mother of rebellious teen John (Edward Furlong). Sarah’s understanding of the apocalyptic future, told to her by time-travelling androids, has landed her in an asylum and John in the foster care system – she knows that John will one day grow up to save humanity from a computer-led Armageddon, and has done her best to teach him to fight and survive. When a new and improved Terminator android with shape-shifting abilities arrives from the future to eliminate John, a familiar older model (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is sent to protect the boy himself.
