The 2021 BAFTA shortlists were announced on Tuesday, and we're delighted to see BABYTEETH nominated in the best Director category.

The award features the highest number of female filmmakers in the British Academy's 74-year history. Shannon Murphy is nominated for her directorial debut BABYTEETH alongside Chloé Zhao (Nomadland), Jasmila Žbanić (Quo Vadis, Aida?), Sarah Gavron (Rocks), Lee Issac Chung (Minari) and Thomas Vinterberg (Another Round).

This year's EE British Academy Film Awards will take place over a weekend showcasing, rewarding and celebrating filmmaking excellence across two EE British Academy Film Awards shows – the first 'Opening Night' broadcast on Saturday 10 April on BBC Two and the second broadcast on Sunday 11 April on BBC One.
