Reading and Q&A with Yeliz Hakki, author of Flynn's Window + screening of The Snail & The Whale

We are thrilled to present a very special event celebrating storytelling and illustration for World Book Day at Bromley Picturehouse.

Join author & illustrator Yeliz Hakki for a fun-filled storytime session. She'll read Flynn's Window, which takes you into the imagination of Flynn the cat, and everything he sees from his favourite spot on the window ledge.

Yeliz will tell you all about what inspires her stories, show you how she draws her characters, and answer any questions from the audience. Flynn's Window activity sheets will also be provided so that you can get creative back at school.

Then we'll settle down and go on a journey into the deep, blue sea with a screening of The Snail And The Whale, Julia Donaldson's lovely tale about a very unlikely friendship.

More about FLYNN'S WINDOW
What do you see when you look out the window? What if the view changed every time you looked out of it?
Flynn's Window is a book about imagination. A lovely rhyming book about Flynn, the cat, who sits in his favourite spot by the window, and sees all sorts of weird and wonderful things through the glass...
