The Windrush Caribbean Film Festival (WCFF) brings the stories of the Windrush generation and their descendants to life through the lens of film. Now in its sixth year, the festival connects audiences across the UK and the global diaspora through powerful storytelling that explores identity, migration, and belonging. www.windrushfilmfestival.com

The programme includes the acclaimed documentary Getting It Back: The Story of Cymande, celebrating the legacy of the pioneering British funk band Cymande. The screening will also feature a selection of short films, including Remembering BRAFA - as the song that became Hackney's answer to Live Aid celebrates its 40th anniversary, and animations by artists supported through Film London’s FLAMIN Animations programme.

Presented in partnership with ALT A REVIEW, Joy Coker (www.alt-africa.com), a bespoke online and print media platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black, Brown, and minority creatives.
