WCFF: Closing Ceremony

Our journey continues in Brixton where WCFF 2024 comes to a close on Sunday 30 June at the Ritzy.

Join us for an evening to celebrate the filmmakers who brought compelling stories to our screens at this year’s Festival. We will announce the winners of Best Short Film, Best Documentary and Best Breakout Film.

Two other important moments include the presentation of the Paulette Wilson Justice award that goes to a noted campaigner in honour of the tireless campaigner for justice for the victims of the Windrush scandal and the Menelik Shabazz award presented to an up-and-coming Black British Filmmaker.

Join us afterward for further celebrations, featuring cocktails by Kromantirum and Caribbean food.
