UK Jewish Film Preview: Untouchable + Q&A

Director: Ursula Macfarlane
Duration: 138 min

A modern-day studio mogul, producer Harvey Weinstein almost singlehandedly revolutionised the film industry in the 1990s, churning out indie classics such as Pulp Fiction and Shakespeare in Love. Sexual assault rumours against Weinstein have persisted for years, but it was only in 2017 that shocking details of his alleged behaviour saw the light of day, prompting the launch of the global #MeToo movement. Giving voice to the many accusers for the first time, Untouchable is an important if painful account of his alleged crimes, and the culture of silence that allowed them to happen.

A special UK Jewish Film preview followed by a Q&A with two-time Academy Award winning producer, Simon Chinn.
