The Roads Not Taken

Leo (Academy Award winner Javier Bardem), sick with an unknown illness, wrestles with dream-like glimpses of the lives he could’ve led, all the while his daughter (Elle Fanning) struggles to balance the necessity of her father’s care with her yearning to forge a path of her own. Director Sally Potter (Orlando, Ginger and Rosa) follows the two on a journey through New York City, and takes an uncompromising, heartfelt glimpse at two distinct lives bound together.
