On 25th February Harbour Lights turns 25 and we're celebrating by revisiting one of the films we opened with - Cinema Paradiso! A love letter to cinema, film and how vital these experiences can be to people and communities, Cinema Paradiso was the perfect film for our opening weekend and remains as heartwarming today as it did a quarter of a century ago. Tickets for this anniversary screening are back to their 1995 price of only £4.50. Salvatore inherits from Alfredo not only a love of film, but also his job, as the Nuovo Cinema Paradiso enjoys a brief term of glory as the hub of the community before the days of TV and pop. Romantic, nostalgic, funny and exuberant, CINEMA PARADISO is all the more memorable for the winning performances by the great Philippe Noiret and ten-year-old Salvatore Cascio.
