Mediterranean cinematographers have a natural flair to portray the transition from childhood to adulthood in a luminous and effortless way, and this film is no exception. Laura Jou's first feature uses her previous experience casting children for films to great effect, and the two main leads imbue their characters with multiple nuances and emotions. It's a lovely, tender and sensitive story based on a popular Catalan book; very well received by audiences and critics alike.
We are delighted to welcome Director Laura Jou for a Q&A following the film.
