Mackinnon & Saunders: Dedicated to uncovering the astonishing craft and technical skills employed in the production of ground-breaking animation, this talk and screening introduces Mackinnon & Saunders, world leaders in character development for stop-motion puppets. Famed for bringing the world’s best known animated characters to life, including Tim Burton’s ‘Corpse Bride’ and Wes Anderson’s ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’, they will shed light on the processes behind their design and construction. The event includes a premiere of a digitally remastered version of 1992 animation ‘The Sandman’. Presented by Ian Mackinnon. A must-see for animation fans.
