Ocean's 8

Director: Gary Ross
Starring: Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway
Duration: 110 min

An all-female extravaganza sees Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side), Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth) and Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables) come together in Gary Ross’s star-studded spin-off of Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s trilogy. Following her release from prison, Debbie Ocean (a cunning Bullock) recruits a crew of eight, including Cate Blanchett as her right-hand woman, to carry out an unbelievably ambitious heist at New York City’s glitzy annual Met Gala. All eyes are on celebrity Daphne Kluger’s (Hathaway) $150-million diamond necklace as the savvy women-only squad stage a robbery like no other – all the while attempting not to raise a single eyebrow. Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), Sarah Paulson (American Crime Story), Awkwafina, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter (The King’s Speech), Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) and James Corden (Gavin & Stacey) round off an ensemble cast.
